Profession Strength Remineralizing GelABSOLUTE MUST FOR HEALTHY TEETH
The process of demineneralization, tooth decay/sensitivity, occurs over time gradually. One of the best ways to promote this important step is to purchase Saliva PH paper testing strips. What the PH papers help to do is identify factors that may lead to tooth decay or even periodontal disease. A neutral PH of 7 is healthy. A PH of 4-6.5 is acidic and this contributes to tooth decay and periodontal disease. Remineralization helps to protect and strengthen the teeth. Remineralizing Gel: helps with sensitivity and strengthens tooth enamel post bleaching. Teeth become sensitive when tooth enamel erodes or the gum line recedes, exposing tiny microscopic holes, or tubules, that lead directly to the nerves inside the tooth. These nerves are the source of sensitive teeth pain. The remineralization method involves calcium phosphate compounds, the primary mineral in teeth and bone. The process disperses into the tooth structure to "fill" the microscopic hole and repair early cavities, actually making teeth stronger. The new calcium phosphate process overcomes these problems and remineralizes teeth rapidly. Fluoride rinses do not provide adequate fluoride coverage of teeth to prevent demineralization. Place a thin ribbon of fluoride gel ( calcium-phosphate remineralizing gel) in each custom tray. Insert tray(s). Rest for 5 minutes. Remove trays and do not rinse mouth. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes following application. Wash and rinse mouth trays. Put trays in Tray Container. See Also
