Teeth Whitening Strips
Teeth whitening strips are gaining popularity as one of the at home methods of teeth whitening. They have been tried and tested for some time now.
How do They Work?
Thin strips containing a bleaching solution are placed on the teeth and left in place for approx 30 minutes. This proceedure is usually done twice a day for a period of approximately two weeks.
Are they effective?
Yes they do work but not as effective as most people would like. The problem is that the strips lay over the teeth and do not fit the teeth’s contour. This can and will cause an uneven result.

They are relatively cheap and easy to use.
They are readily available.
Can cause severe sensitivity, which is probably caused by the glycerine in the strips that is used to draw water out of the tooth.
Inconsistent results
In conclusion
For some people these will remain their preferred method of use due to their availability and cheapness and convenience. We believe that there are much more effective methods of teeth whitening which give more consistent results.
